Lianna Gilman

Lianna has been involved in the broader work of Context Institute for almost 20 years and in the evolution of the Bright Future programs since their earliest beginnings.  As Robert’s wife, she holds a special sense of relationship to her involvement with Context Institute and a deep and abiding commitment to CI’s mission and approach as viable bridges to a sustainable planetary future.

Drawing on a rich mosaic of work and educational experiences, Lianna brings skill-sets and learnings from a broad background:

  • Office/organizational administration and book-keeping
  • Free-lance editing and proof-reading; a life-long lover of words and books
  • Sensitive understanding of human development and trauma-healing
  • Professional training and certification at the Barbara Brennan School of Healing
(energy-balancing bodywork and the deeper levels of intentionality and core essence)
  • Feng Shui consulting
  • Soul Wisdom insight card-readings (more at www.liannagilman.com)
  • Volunteering for community projects in food-sufficiency, local governance and land use
  • Exploring various energy modalities through self-directed studies
  • Personal journey with life-challenges, self-awareness practices and healing

Lianna’s creative passion is fiber arts, with a focus on free-style weaving in the Japanese SAORI tradition, which emphasizes spontaneity and innovation.  Through this weaving, she has found her sweet spot for playing with color, texture, kinesthetic rhythmicity and authentic self-expression.  More at www.heartsong-weaving.com

An avid believer in the emerging presence of a thriving Planetary-era culture, Lianna is in full alignment with the words of Arundhati Roy:  “Another world is not only possible, she is on her way. On a quiet day, I can hear her breathing.”
