For about a month prior to the 1999 Eco-Village Training at Findhorn, Scotland (February March) I worked, in exchange for being able to participate in part of the course. I did everything from organizing a lending library, creating a diagram of the program's schedule and formatting documents to running errands and making copies. At the end of my work one of the Training's key organizers gave me an open invitation to come and play a similar role again.
