My life experiences have brought me in contact, and conversation, with a wide variety of people. Through my frequent travels I have gained skills in communicating with people from other cultures, often with first languages other than English. By accompanying my parents on their work it has become completely natural for me to be engaged in conversation between a group of adults. In Winslow Cohousing, where I was a popular babysitter, I got to know children of all ages.
Learning in the context of life, and
not in a segragated school environment, has made me equally comfortable
conversing with people of diverse ages and backgrounds.
